month of feb

I've activated my semi-retirement mode. Damn happy! not going to consider extending, not a day more!
Taking leave on Tue, half day on Wed, then its CNY :)
No plans yet for what to do on Tue, as well as after Feb, but I'll think about it when I come to it.
Must learn to save, now that dad is also not working. Die, what if we have no money? But I'm still going ahead with my plan. Otherwise the money would have been wasted, and I'd probably never get the chance again.

it's about time

one more week before i set my plan in motion. and at the moment, i just have to bide my time, be patient and continue slogging.

had a good time in malacca with the external maternal family over the weekend. usually, we're not close, and don't even talk much. but it's fun to share plans with my elder cousin and aunts, play with my younger cousins, and hold my granny's hand through crowded streets. =)

who chops passport 4 times in 3 days! who goes shopping and ends up buying stuff for safety reasons?!! believe that it's true that JB is a dangerous place, ok! trouble will find you even if you are just driving along the road. and it's only cause your car is singapore registered, and you are two lonesome women! knn, fast pumping heart and adrenaline rush- scary!

first, there are no tickets for the BKK sale fare.
then, my laptop has some unsolvable connectivity problems.
and then, qantas website suddenly tells us there isn't this route, please try again.
MAS does not do multi-city from south east asia. SIA does not have the route we want.

mahjong today was canceled, cause my 4th leg keeps running away!!! haha and i've watched all the mentalist and house episodes i have. so what should i do???

met pat and gen to discuss gen's birthday. and took a photo of them while queuing for koi. shell's recommended black tea macchiato is really quite nice!

dinner with sharon at a pinch of salt, which really feels a lot like miss clarity cafe.

escargots! =) and the choc lava cake was delicious!!!!!

went to show support for a shop's opening, and my flowers were not delivered during the scheduled time. boo, so paisae. but far east flora really has some nice items.

friday was shopping day with the girls. walked far east, but only 2 out of 5 managed to buy clothes. how are we going to be in time for CNY at this rate?
taka crystal jade for dinner, we really need to improve on our budgetting skills. haha future roomie!

yesterday afternoon was supposed to be mj with pork, but his organising skills fail. so we spent an afternoon battling with the online forms. 3 weeks to know result. and then we can really start preparing! yayness!! so fun! throw away all the troubles of work and then run off and have the time of our lives!

out with the old!

the bag i've been using since i started work, the one i specially detoured back to Hong Kong Esprit to buy. it has begun peeling, so i must say goodbye.

and today's an especially lazy day. lots to do, but like none that really makes me wanna get involved.

waiting for lunar new year! i don't know why i'm so enthusiastic about it this year, but i am! =)

i dont want the weekend to end

the weekend has been so fun that i wish i never have to go back to work! but it was so packed, i am afraid i will forget the details if i don't write it down. cos i have been sleeping at 3am for the past 2 days!

thursday, we all took a day's off to play mahjong + dinner! (except for that chaogeng-er, who took mc!) played 2 rounds at lala's house, with my nose acting all weird and dripping non-stop. and the pathetic result was $1 won, but it's good fun!

then we adjourned to city hall for dinner with leen! ichiban-boshi, where they ordered a lot of food due to skipping lunch. which results in the bill being very messy, and my excel sheet too. we had ice cream too, at the ice cube cafe. but we were kinda disappointed with the smallness of the ring of fire. should've gone swensens for the earthquake!sending off 2010 in good company! why did i let hong be taller than me?

worked half a day before running off at 1230 to come home sleep. supposed to meet ty at 7pm but our lateness miraculously still synchronised to reach at 730pm haha. made reservations at heart bistro (palais renaissance) but turns out, it was totally unnecessary. we were the only customers the entire night! or did lala reserve the whole place when she called? =p) one of the waiters was damn cute, hor lala?

moved to clarke quay to watch some people and get some countdown atmosphere. we wandered for damn long before deciding to try our luck in getting a table at Highlander. the music there was quite good, and we had a good time =) i love u lala, my date for the last night of 2010!

but the crowd was kinda unbelievable, we couldn't get a cab for 45minutes when we were going back! damn tired when i finally crashed on the bed.

and yesterday the original intention was to wake past lunch before heading to hj's house to meet 2b people. but then i had to go clementi to do my nails (aiya, secret destination la). so when i reached tanah, it was almost 530. hj so nice, came to pick us up to his house, where 8 guys were already singing+cheating each other's money.

dinner was at somewhere near changi fire station- steamboat! not bad! =)

and the refugee ride to and fro was super hilarious!

gift exchange was mad fun, the crazy laughter and obscene questions.haha and then we continued with mj, where wj cheated us 3 girls' money. so we took revenge and wrote malu things on his leg cast! haha

13 people only this year, but it was still fun!

i had such a good start to the year! i hope everyone did too! 2011 is going to be better than 2010, cause we're changing jobs!!!!!!!!
